WE WEREN’T MADE TO BE ALONE!
When I get alone, I call them.
When I’m scared, I call them.
When I feel down, I call them.
I am lucky enough to have many siblings and even more so, because we are all close.
When I received the copy of the MRI scans, where MS got mentioned, I called my sister to ask if I had understood that right.
I have to say, it feels like we all been training for this moment, so that we’d be prepared, although none of us expected this.
Not being in the same country, doesn’t affects us and through whatever means they can, there are always there to help.

Few friend but good ones…
When talking about friend I deal in quality not quantity.
I don’t have many, but everyone I have is willing to help a way or another.
When you are ill, the people that love you, will offer help.
Take it.
Not everybody can help with everything, so be smart and rely on their strength.
You may need physical help or help with admin.
Whatever it is, asking don’t cost nothing, the worse it can happen they say no.
Also, friend are a nice buffer. Whether you just need a distraction or to vent, real friends will be there.
Ms won’t make you more sociable, quite the contrary, and meeting with you might take some planning. It does take more to keep relationships while going through tragedy and loosing control of your body, is a tragedy.
There will be day where you feel like being left alone is all you want, and days where you NEED company.
